Pescatlas brings together, area by area, what you need to know before freshwater fishing: the licence and its price, open and close dates, minimum sizes and bag limits. The site covers 279 areas in 22 countries, in seven languages.

Why this site

These rules exist everywhere, but they are scattered across prefectoral orders, federation rules, state laws, cantonal ordinances and state fishing guides. An angler who crosses a county line or a border has to look everything up again. We read these texts and present them the same way everywhere, with a readable calendar and a link to the source.

Who publishes Pescatlas

The site is published by Clem corp (Clément Lacaille), a French business based in Le Perreux-sur-Marne that also runs the Tech-Bharat sites. Contact: admin@tech-bharat.com. Full details are in the legal notice.

What we do not do

We do not replace the official text: every page links to its source and states the date we accessed it. We never invent a value: when an authority does not publish something, the page says so. We publish no customer reviews or ratings.

The shop

The shop offers gear related to the pages (measuring tapes to respect size limits, lures and accessories suited to the species). It funds the research work. Products are shipped by our logistics partner; terms are in the terms of sale.
