Het verbod van art. 6 lid 1 Reglement binnenvisserij (dood aas, kunstaas 1 april-31 mei) geldt niet in deze wateren (art. 6 lid 2). Soortgebonden gesloten tijden (snoek, snoekbaars, baars…) blijven gelden.

Grevelingenmeer : aangewezen als water waar de regels over huur en verhuur van visrecht (paragraaf 5 Visserijwet) niet gelden (Uitvoeringsregeling visserij, hoofdstuk 2). Oostvoornsemeer : vrijstelling voor hengelen met kunstaas (vrijstelling van art. 6 lid 1 onder a Reglement binnenvisserij, Uitvoeringsregeling visserij hoofdstuk 4).
