Le portail du Govern balear (« Vols obtenir la llicència de pesca? ») ne présente que quatre licences de pêche maritime : recreativa individual, recreativa per a embarcació, submarina et esportiva ; aucune licence ni ordre de pêche en eaux continentales n'y figure. La llicència de pesca marítima recreativa individual (3 ans, 16,21 € on line ; gratuite pour retraités et plus de 65 ans ; obligatoire dès 14 ans) couvre la pêche depuis la côte en « aigües interiors i exteriors » au sens maritime, pas les eaux continentales. Les Illes Balears ne sont pas parties au convenio de licencia interautonómica de pesca en aguas continentales (BOE 10/03/2026).
