Catch-and-release for tiger trout (ODFW). Diamond Lake is a 2,824-acre lake within the Umpqua National Forest in southern Oregon, just north of Crater Lake National Park in Douglas County. This lake is one of the most popular recreational fisheries in southern Oregon. Fishing is done both from boats and from the bank. Many years, the lake freezes over and ice fishing is possible. Amenities: There are five paved boat ramps, three U.S. Forest Service campgrounds and a privately owned resort around Diamond Lake, 11 miles of paved path around the lake, Fish species: rainbow trout, tiger trout (catch-and-release) Amenities: Accessible path
