Local rules
Hoover Campground rests at an elevation of 1,600 feet on the shores of Detroit Lake. Camp sites are surrounded by towering trees, making for secluded camping spots. There are several hiking trails in the area, including Stahlman Point Trail, which offers beautiful vistas of the lake and surrounding mountain area. There is a boat ramp adjacent to the campground . Additional amenities include: ADA fishing platform, camp sites, vault toilet, grills, paved parking lot. Reservations are available May through September.
