Overview
The small parts that make up a carp rig, in one parcel. The kit contains:
- 20 stainless-steel ring swivels in size 4 and 20 in size 7 (“Q” type), to join the hooklink to the main line;
- 15 yellow floating foam beads of 12 mm (0.47 in), to make a rig buoyant or balance a hookbait;
- 30 heat-shrink tubes of 8 cm (3.1 in), to protect knots and set the angle of the hook.
It is for static fishing for carp and, with the larger swivels, catfish. Tip: slide the tube over the hook eye before shrinking it, so the point turns more easily in the fish's mouth.
Limitations: hooks, weights and line are not included. The supplier does not state the breaking strain of the swivels: for catfish, choose swivels with a guaranteed rating. The foam beads are a buoyancy aid, not a bait.
