- All resident anglers age 16 through 74 must have a resident fishing license (residents 15 and younger and 75 and older are not required). Nonresidents 16 and older must have a nonresident license. Agent and transaction fees added to base prices.

Statewide 15-in minimum and 5/day for black bass and for walleye/sauger/saugeye (walleye limit not applied in rivers/streams). Northern pike 30 in, 2/day. Trout program in winter only (permit Dec. 1 - March 31). Many lakes have their own length/creel limits.
