Overview
This fine braid is made for light lure fishing: perch, trout, zander and black bass on small lures, where a line with no stretch transmits the slightest bite. The 4-strand weave is the most common construction for this kind of line.
The spool holds 300 m (328 yd), in two options: no. 0.4 grey, very fine, for ultralight, or no. 1.0 yellow, more versatile and easy to see so you can follow the line. The supplier states a PE fibre. About 110 g (3.9 oz) packed.
- Yellow helps you spot a bite on the drop, when the line tightens or stops.
- Finish with a fluorocarbon leader, which is less visible than a coloured braid.
Limits: the supplier states neither the diameter nor the breaking strain; test the line by hand before targeting big fish. A no. 0.4 braid needs a well-set drag. For pike, a bite-proof trace is essential.
