Overview
A keepnet keeps fish alive in the water during a float-fishing or match session, so they can all be released together at the end. This one is made of aluminium rings and coated nylon mesh, described as rubberised by the manufacturer, who also claims it dries quickly and snags scales and fins less than ordinary netting.
Two sizes: Ø 33 cm × 2 m (13 in × 6.6 ft), or Ø 25 cm × 1.5 m (10 in × 4.9 ft) as a back-up. Army green. It folds down and goes into the supplied bag. It is meant for silver fish: roach, bream, perch.
Good practice: extend it fully in water that is deep enough, do not overload it and release the fish as soon as you can. Rinse it and let it dry before storing.
Limitations: the supplier does not detail the weight or how it attaches. Some matches and waters have rules on keepnets: check the local regulations.

Which length should I choose?
The 2 m version gives the fish more room; the 1.5 m one is a back-up. Before a match, check the length required by the rules.
Can I keep a carp in it?
No, a Ø 33 cm keepnet is made for silver fish. Release a carp straight away or retain it briefly in a suitable retention sling.
Is the mesh really rubber?
The maker describes it as rubberised (coated) nylon. It is not solid rubber.
