- A fishing license and trout/salmon stamp are not required for residents and nonresidents under age 18, nor for Indiana residents born before April 1, 1943. Residents 64+ buy the Senior Annual ($3) or Senior Fish for Life ($23).
Good to know
Black bass: 14-in minimum and 5/day in lakes; in rivers/streams a 12-15 in protected slot (max two over 15 in). Walleye 14 in south / 16 in north of State Road 26. Northern pike 24 in, 3/day, only one ≥30 in. Youth under 18 fish free (residents and nonresidents).
