Overview
A long spool of nylon monofilament for main line: float fishing for roach and bream, ledgering for carp and tench, light spinning for perch and trout. Nylon stretches a little, which cushions a fish's runs and forgives drag-setting mistakes.
The spool holds 1,000 m (1,094 yd), enough to fill several reels. The line is speckled light blue; the manufacturer presents it as an "invisible" colour-changing camouflage line, which cannot be verified. Numbers to choose from: 0.8, 1.5, 2.0, 3.0 or 4.0.
