Overview
Where a bank stick will not go in (a jetty, paving, rocks, stony ground), a small tripod still lets you rest your rod. This pack contains two folding tripods in aluminium alloy, each topped with a rod fork that holds the blank or the handle.
Use them as a pair under one rod (one at the front, one at the back) for static fishing for carp, bream or tench, or as a quick rest for a float rod while you feed the swim or rebait. Folded, they slip into a bag pocket.
Tip: set the legs on a stable surface and keep the reel's drag loose, so that a run does not pull the rod into the water.
Limitations: the supplier gives neither the height, the width of the fork nor the weight per tripod. They are small, light supports: in strong wind or with a heavy rod, they can tip over. On soft banks, stick-in rod rests hold better.
