Overview
A long, light rod for float fishing and whip fishing on ponds, canals and slow rivers: roach, rudd, bream, perch and small carp.
It is carbon and telescopic, in 3.60 m (11 ft 10 in) (215 g according to the supplier) or 4.50 m (14 ft 9 in) (265 g). The supplier describes it as a "dual-use" rod: tie the line directly to the tip like a whip, or fit a reel, as guides are visible in the photos. The photos show a rod marked "540" (the 5.40 m version, not sold here).
Limitations: the number of sections and the closed length are not published (the parcel is stated at about 36 cm for the 3.60 m and 45 cm for the 4.50 m). Reel, line, float and hooks are not included. Never fish near power lines: carbon conducts electricity.
