Overview
A lure stored with bare trebles snags everything: other lures, the landing net mesh, your fingers. These clip-on covers slip over the treble of a crankbait or spoon for storage and transport, and come off before you fish.
The pack holds 150 fluorescent yellow polyethylene covers in three sizes of 50, with the matches given by the supplier:
- no. 1: 1.6 × 1.7 cm (0.63 × 0.67 in), for trebles 1/0, 2/0 and 3/0 (large pike lures);
- no. 3: 1.0 × 1.3 cm (0.39 × 0.51 in), for trebles no. 4 and 5;
- no. 5: 0.7 × 1.0 cm (0.28 × 0.39 in), for trebles no. 9 and 10 (small trout or perch lures).
The bright colour helps you spot a cover left on before the first cast.
Limits: the supplier's sizes 2 and 4 are not included, so trebles no. 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 have no dedicated cover in this pack. Dimensions are for one side of the cover. These are not hooks.
