Overview
A compact landing net for lure fishing or float fishing from the bank: the triangular head (35 × 41 cm, 35 cm deep) folds onto the aluminium handle and the whole thing packs down to 43.5 cm (17 in), small enough to clip to a bag or slide into a rod holdall.
The telescopic handle extends from 73 to 92 cm (29–36 in). That is enough from a low bank, a jetty or a small boat; from a high bank or a harbour wall you will need a longer handle. Netting the fish avoids lifting it out by the line, which damages its mouth and snaps leaders.
It suits perch, trout, medium zander and modest pike. For a big pike or a carp, the head is too small.
